On the occasion of the today's International Day of Children's rights and the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse (November 19th) and also European Day of Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (November 18) we have decided to sensitize the public and experts. It’s so important to raise awareness of sexual violence against children and promote the protection of their rights.
As part of the Conference Against violence in schools (International Approach to Violence phenomenon) held on February 20, 2019 in the Zagreb, psychologist form Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb, Ella Selak Bagarić held a lecture on “Treatment of Children and Adolescents with Experiences of Bullying and Cyberbullying”. She presented the scientific findings and examples of working with child perpetrators and victims, as well as their parents and the system for protecting children.
The Conference is intended for the heads of county expert councils, as well as mentors and counsellors of expert associates, pedagogues, psychologists, social pedagogue and leaders of preventative programs of County Councils. After welcoming words from Jadranka Žarković – Pečenković, Director of Education and Teacher Training Agency, following lectures were held:

Dr.sc. Lana Peto Kujundžić, County Court in Zagreb: “Proceedings against minors who commit violent crimes”
