On 23 October 2013, Croatian Health Insurance decided to modify the regulation of the bases for the contract for health protection within the compulsory health insurance (published in the National Gazette No 128/2013). Accordingly, instead of diagnostic psychology, short psycho diagnostic interview and psychological diagnostic procedures and methods data collection, the decision allows the following psychological services within the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to be included in the contract:
The Brave Phone, in cooperation with the agency Terre des Hommes hosted the international study visit by the participants from Romania, Moldavia, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 15 and 16 November 2016. The aim of the visit was sharing knowledge about good practice in the field of child protection. The focus of the study visit was The Child and Youth Protection Centre of the City of Zagreb, as an example of a health institution offering free multidisciplinary help to children and their families in Croatia.
The Centre was represented by its director, Prof. dr sc. Gordana Buljan Flander and the head of the treatment department, dr sc. Bruna Profaca. Several experts shared their experience of positive cooperation with the Child and Youth Protection Centre: Hrvoje Breclin, representing the City of Zagreb, Tatjana Brozić Perić, director of Social Welfare Centre of Zagreb, Lana Peto Kujundžić, county state attorney for juvenile delinquency, as well as Marko Pavić and Anita Matijević, the representatives of the Police department for juvenile delinquency and drimes against the youth and the family.
