The “Behind the Door” (“Behind This Door Lives Mia”) campaign launched by the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center in collaboration with the Croatian Ministry of the Interior and the Degordian Agency was published on the portal of the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN). That is a network that aims to connect at local, national and European level with the aim of promoting knowledge and practices in crime prevention among EU Member States. In the period when Croatia is the EU presiding country at the forefront of the European Crime Prevention Network is Ivo Jakić, from Croatian Police Directorate Prevention Service
In addition to describing the goals and implementation of the “Behind the Doors” campaign in the media and social networks, the European Crime Prevention Network website concludes:
“We believe this campaign is in line with the EU’s goals, and we are confident that it will, with cooperation and hard work, prevent all kinds of child abuse.”
The premiere of the theatre play on peer violence “If You Say, You Are Done!” at the City Theatre "Žar ptica", which was produced in collaboration with the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center, took place on September 27, 2019.
