In Prague, on 11 July 2017, a meeting was organized which brought together practitioners from across Europe who are dealing with the manipulation of children by parents in divorce proceedings. The purpose of the meeting was to establish European Association of Parental Alienation Practitioners (EAPAP, https://www.eapap.eu/) that will deal with this issue at a systematic international and multidisciplinary level.
Training for professionals of various profiles who work with young people in conflict with the law (police, social welfare centers, judiciary…) was organized on October 4, 2018, in Osijek. Psychologist from Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb Mia Roje, as one of the mentors at the AWAY project (Alternative Ways to Address Youth), held a lecture about adolescents and their experience of the law, as well as their needs in the system from a development perspective.
