On Tuesday, May 29th, 2019 at Sesvete Elementary School Ivan Granđe, Center’s psychologist Mia Roje Đapić held a lecture for teachers and members of the school’s expert team on school violence. With the director Leonida Udovičić, many participants got involved in discussing different forms of violence against and among children, with a particular focus on violence through modern technologies.
The importance of mutual cooperation between the healthcare, social welfare and educational system, as well as the protocols and ways of its realization were also discussed. As a true example of good practice, this school is investing significant resources, effort and energy to involve children, young people, parents and teachers in prevention programs and to direct students’ attention on creative, quality and successful projects. The lecture of psychologist Mie Roje was the first step of the Center’s cooperation with the experts of the Ivan Granđe Elementary School.
