Prof. dr sc. Gordana Buljan Flander delivered two lectures on the topic Youth Violence Partnerships: Is It PossibleThat It Is Love? The lectures were intended for teachers and high school students and were organised by the Counselling Centre Lanterna in Makarska on 6 October 2016.
At the Evaluation Seminar of the Parent Support Center, “Growing together” for project managers who started a new support program “Growing together – us too”, on Monday, October 1, 2018, doc. dr. sc. Bruna Profaca held a lecture on “Child and family in need of help”. The program is intended for vulnerable parents and their pre-school children in family centers, children’s homes, kindergartens and civil society organizations across the Republic of Croatia. The first pilot implementation of the new program has been held from March 2018 to July 2018.
The “Growing together” Parent Support Center has the role of an implementing partner under the “For a Stronger Family” initiative which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy and UNICEF, in co-operation with the Croatian Association of Social Workers. Within this role, the Center is implementing a three-year “Parent Support Program (PROSPOR) for parents of preschool children, especially for those in more demanding circumstances of parenting.”
