This year the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and Child Protection Center of Zagreb have decided to join in marking the Safer Internet Day by organizing a workshop for children and youth named „Growing up in cyberspace: Click for a safer future“.
At the workshop of the European Commission for Member States experts in Bruxelles, on 28 March 2014, the deputy director dr. Domagoj Štimac will present the Child Protection Center of Zagreb and participate in the discussion focused on the existing practice of supporting children victims within the work of the Center.
The theme of the workshop is the Victim’s rights directive implementation workshop. The workshop will discuss the implementation of directives, and especially measures of support for the specific groups of abuse victims and the existing multidisciplinary issues. The Child Protection Center of Zagreb is recognized as an example of good practice and invited to present its work.
