Professionals from Slovenia (psychologists, social workers, social educators) visited the Child and Youth Protection Centre on 15 September 2017. They participate in the project "Minor's Counsel – the Voice Of the Child" (in Slovenian: "Zagovornik – glas otroka") led since 2007 by Tone Dolčić from the Office of Slovenian Children's Advocate. The aim of the project is developing a network of counsels who would represent children in the society in various circumstances when it is important that children's voice be heard.
Network Terre des Hommes financed the informative video about the work of the Child and Youth Centre of the City of Zagreb. The video is 3:33 minutes long and it was created after the study visit to the Centre in November 2016. The visit was organised within the project Child Protection Hub SEE being conducted in eight countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova. Partner organisation for Croatia is the Brave Phone.
One of the aims of this project is enhancing the competences of professionals working in child protection and sharing positive practice among the countries in the project.
The video is uploaded on You Tube platform Child Protection Hub, under the title “How does the Zagreb Child Protection Center work?”
