Training On Forensic Interviewing Of Victims Of Trafficking Organized By the US Ministry Of Justice In Cavtat
Director Prof. Gordana Buljan Flander, Ph.D., participated in a training program organized by the US Ministry of Justice - a regional program based in Croatia - on international organized crime, trafficking and human smuggling for 47 experts in the Western Balkans. Educators included police officers, prosecutors, judges, victims' attorneys and representatives of NGOs. The training was held from 16th to 18th April, 2019 in Cavtat. The speakers were regional legal advisers to the US Ministry of Justice (from the Office for Overseas Development Investigation, Assistance and Training) Beth Sreenan (Croatia) and Lana Morton-Owens (Kosovo), Attorney General of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Attorney Sanja Bezbradica Jelavič, Judge Lana Petö Kujundzic and psychologist Gordana Buljan Flander, PH.D., from Croatia.
