In times of global crisis, each of us can do a lot, and the first thing is to stay home and take care of yourself and your loved ones and thus preserve the health of others. Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center and the Edward Bernays University College of Communication Management have decided to combine their communication skills, psychological insights and the desire of young students to help their community, and through the power of social assistance networks and children and adults in designing quality time in their home because we all need some new routines and amenities to stay physically and mentally healthy.
Through Instagram and the Facebook profile “At your home”, communication and tourism students, with the support of psychologists, will recommend useful online content for free for all ages and ages:

– My 40 years of working as a psychologist, psychotherapist and mentor and university professor have taught me that for young people, activism is completely natural and they are compassionate and willing to help others, so we should never underestimate the power of young people to change the world. The idea of cooperation between the students of Bernays and experts of the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center just came from the friendship and solidarity of young people, experts who think about a broader perspective, about the well-being of our society, our community – said the director of the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center, professor Gordana Buljan Flander, PhD.
– It is my pleasure that Bernays, in collaboration with a relevant healthcare institution, such as the Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center, will develop a socially beneficial project such as “At Your Home”. I am convinced that both institutions, Bernays on the communication side and the Center on the psychological side, will contribute to the project with their expertise. This can affect citizens’ awareness and contribute to accurate outreach about the epidemic, as well as foster socially responsible behavior across the community, and currently only #ostatidoma I believe will encourage the online content of this project – said Edward Bernays University College dean Damir Jugo, PhD.
The “At Your Home” project, which was designed with the aim of protecting mental health, is a conceptual initiative of three mental health professionals: Bernays’ Head of Student Counseling Mia Flander Tadic and Psychologist and psychologists of Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center, Ella Selak Bagarić and Krešimir Prijatelj.
