Education for specialists in children and adolescent psychiatry in Ljubljana
Slovenian Association for Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry (ZOMP – Association for Child and Youth Psychiatry) organized in Ljubljana on 5 and 6 October 2018 a new cycle of theoretical training for specialists of children and adolescent psychiatry on violence and abuse in the developmental age.
On October 6, 2018 the lectures were held by the Ph.D. Bruna Profaca from the Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb, and the topics were: “Trauma of abuse: physical and sexual abuse in childhood”, “Evaluation of trauma of abuse in children and adolescents”, “Posttraumatic symptomatology and PTSD in childhood and adolescence” and “Treatment of trauma of abuse and support to a non-abusive parent”. The education was held in the premises of the Center for counseling of children, youth and parents in Ljubljana.
