FREE AND AVAILABLE ONLINE: National and university library in Zagreb presents 2 children’s coloring books and 16 puzzles with old Easter greetings

These commemorative congratulations are part of the rich collection of the Graphic Collection of the National and University Library in Zagreb, the largest and oldest collection of its kind in Croatia, which, in addition to numerous works by the greats of Croatian fine arts, preserves more than 150,000 postcards of various motifs, including the oldest ones from the end of 19 centuries to the modern times.

The Easter Coloring Books and Jigsaw Puzzles were created as part of the #ObojiNašeZbirke [Coloring our collections] campaign, launched by the National and University Library in Zagreb in March this year, to model the use of digital cultural heritage for creative learning and entertainment, and to present rich content to the public digital collections. So far, six coloring books have been presented within the campaign with representations of the Croatian towns, drawings of plants from the work of the famous Croatian botanist Lujo Adamovic, and various drawings and graphics from the Graphic Collection.
