Vanja Oparnica graduated psychology in 2019. from Centre for Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb. During his studies, as part of the NGO Hrabri telefon, he volunteered at the Children’s House Borovje.  He acquired initial experience in working with children, young people and their families through an internship, and later as a fully qualified psychologist at a social welfare institution. Since 2020, he has attended training in Behavioral-Cognitive Therapy at the Croatian Association for Behavioral-Cognitive Therapy.

He participated in various seminars and workshops concerning the mental health of children and young people, as well as in continuous training in counseling children, young people and their families.

He continues to develop his skills in fields of psychodiagnostics and counseling work.

He is a member of the Croatian Psychological Chamber.
