The Social Welfare Center Split organized another four-day seminar for its experts in February 2019 on ,,Losses and Support in the grieving process''. The first three days of education were held by prof. dr. sc. Lidija Arambašić from Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, while the second part of the education was held by doc. dr. sc. Bruna Profaca, psychologist from Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb on Februrary 22nd, 2019 which was related to childhood losses and support for children and young people after losses and during grieving.

Mia Roje, psychologist from Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb, held a webinar "Notice, Report and (or) Collaboration: Psychologist in the Child Protection System” on February 22, 2019. The webinar was organized by Brave phone and hosted on an online platform “The Child Protection Hub – Southeastern Europe ". When violence towards children happens, we often look for culprits and point fingers at a particular institution or person, and in this webinar the focus was shifted from blame to cooperation and responsibility of each one of us as individuals and professional experts. Mia Roje also offered some answers to questions as to what is whose responsibility, and how to cooperate better.

Together Against Violence in Schools

As part of the Conference Against violence in schools (International Approach to Violence phenomenon) held on February 20, 2019 in the Zagreb, psychologist form Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb, Ella Selak Bagarić held a lecture on "Treatment of Children and Adolescents with Experiences of Bullying and Cyberbullying". She presented the scientific findings and examples of working with child perpetrators and victims, as well as their parents and the system for protecting children.

RTL: Instagram Egg And the Pressures Of Social Media

RTL released a report by journalist Ida Hamer on "The Most Famous Egg in the World", that has more than 52 million likes on Instagram. Many liked the egg assuming it was about a campaign proving that anything can get a lot of likes on social media with good promotion. A few days ago, the most-liked egg on the internet cracked with the message: “Recently I’ve started to crack. The pressure of social media is getting to me”. Everyone who liked the egg got a message about where they can turn to help in their own countries if they feel like they are “cracking”, that is, if they feel like the pressure of social media is damaging their mental health. In that way, the campaign sent a well-meaning message.
