Study visit to our Centre within the project Child Protection Hub for South East Europe
The Brave Phone, in cooperation with the agency Terre des Hommes hosted the international study visit by the participants from Romania, Moldavia, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 15 and 16 November 2016. The aim of the visit was sharing knowledge about good practice in the field of child protection. The focus of the study visit was The Child and Youth Protection Centre of the City of Zagreb, as an example of a health institution offering free multidisciplinary help to children and their families in Croatia.
The Centre was represented by its director, Prof. dr sc. Gordana Buljan Flander and the head of the treatment department, dr sc. Bruna Profaca. Several experts shared their experience of positive cooperation with the Child and Youth Protection Centre: Hrvoje Breclin, representing the City of Zagreb, Tatjana Brozić Perić, director of Social Welfare Centre of Zagreb, Lana Peto Kujundžić, county state attorney for juvenile delinquency, as well as Marko Pavić and Anita Matijević, the representatives of the Police department for juvenile delinquency and drimes against the youth and the family.
