Children’s Board of the Brave Phone visited the City Mayor Milan Bandić at the City of Zagreb Government on  March 27, 2009. Children met the Mayor and presented their proposals about how to turn the city into a children-friendly city. The mayor listened and readily answered all their questions. This was a part of the program of visiting institutions which have impact on children’s lives and their rights.

The Brave Phone Children’s Board has been active since 2004. It was established with an aim of approaching the issue of children’s own protection of their rights actively, through learning, informing, discussing and getting an insight into the system of child protection in our country. Apart from the activity of debating about children’s rights and obligations, disseminating the acquired knowledge and obtained information to their peers is one of their assignments. Up to now, the Board has been received by the Children’s Advocate and the Center for Child Protection of Zagreb.
