At the Montenegro First Congress of Preventive Paediatrics
The Montenegro First Congress of Preventive Paediatrics with international participation, focused on the theme “Preventive Paediatrics as the Foundation of the Health System” was held in the Splendid Hotel in Budva from 21 to 23 October 2016. The Congress was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science of the Montenegro Government and organised by the Association for Preventive Paediatrics of Montenegro and the Organisational Committee headed by Assistant professor, Sc.D. Nebojša Kavarić, director of the Podgorica Health Centre.
Lectures were held by recognised professionals in the field of preventive paediatrics and related disciplines, with the aim of scientifically highlighting the significance of preventive paediatrics at the foundations of the health system.
Prof. Sc.D. Gordana Buljan Flander delivered the invited lecture “Children in cyberworld – did we enrich childhood or put children at risk?” which attracted a lot of interest of the participants and confirmed the importance of this theme in the world today, as well as the importance of systematic work on prevention.
Ella Selak Bagarić, psychologist of the Centre also delivered the invited lecture Manipulation of children in high-conflict divorces – challenges and risks for professionals and the system.
