Convention on the Rights of the Child
Your rights are what you may do and what those who are responsible for you must do so that you can be happy, healthy and safe. You also have responsibilities towards other children and adults so that they have their rights granted..

Education about Moaiku approach |
Several professionals from the Center participated in two-day education
'Moaiku — Somatic Trauma Workshop', which was held in September 2009 in
London by Merete Holm Brantbjerg.
Workshop 'Trauma, safety and boundaries – Ressource oriented skill training in trauma work' was designed to support both therapists who work with traumatised individuals and clients. It was focused on training the skills that support presence, safety and a contained personality state in the here and now.
Basic skills, like centering, landing and sensing boundaries, are impacted in traumatic situations. When survival is the primary focus, personal boundaries and integrity are neglected or set aside. This method opens and builds a functional system of facing and meeting challenge by developing bodily and emotional processing.
Moaiku approach was designed by Merete Holm Brantbjerg, bodynamic analyst, a member of the European Association of Body Psihotherapy.

A parent places a child in the middle when the child is asked to be a carrier of adult messages, asked to keep secrets, or asked to serve as a spy in the other household. When a parent trashes the other parent to the child, half of that child is being trashed also. Such issues take their toll on a child's self-esteem and sense of well-being. Any movement along the continuum from conflict to cooperation, no matter how small, is a move to benefit the child.
