Convention on the Rights of the Child
Your rights are what you may do and what those who are responsible for you must do so that you can be happy, healthy and safe. You also have responsibilities towards other children and adults so that they have their rights granted..

The Brave Phone - phone for abused and neglected children is also situated in our Center. The Brave phone is an NGO which was registered in 1997, and the main aim of this NGO is protection of the children from abuse and neglect.
The 40 volunteers of the Brave phone (students of helping professions) work on the hotline where children and adults can make an anonymous phone call and report if they have been abused or neglected or if they know of someone who is. The volunteers can also advise the caller to get direct help from the experts working in the Center.
The volunteers also work on raising the public awereness in the field of child abuse. They are involved in educating the experts who work with children and in scientific research in this field.

A parent places a child in the middle when the child is asked to be a carrier of adult messages, asked to keep secrets, or asked to serve as a spy in the other household. When a parent trashes the other parent to the child, half of that child is being trashed also. Such issues take their toll on a child's self-esteem and sense of well-being. Any movement along the continuum from conflict to cooperation, no matter how small, is a move to benefit the child.
